Our Parish churches and our Parish centre are used for a variety of social events each month.
Some are organised by church groups and raise funds for the churches, others are brought to us by other village groups.
All aim to provide a time of fellowship and interest for the participants. Everyone is welcome. Contact the organisers to find out what charity will receive the profits of a particular event.

This year our summer outing will be to Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum, North Devon on Tuesday   18th June.

Arlington Court is an unexpected jewel on the edge of Exmoor, a complete family estate held by the Chichester family for over five hundred years. The collection consists of treasures for all tastes, from model ships to shells, collected over several generations. The house itself, built in 1823 and extended in 1860, has an austere facade. However, inside the cosy rooms purvey a homely, family atmosphere.

The Carriage Museum in the stables has a vehicle for every occasion from cradle to grave. Currently on loan from the Houses of Parliament is the Speaker’s State Coach, a glorious, gilded carriage with over 300 years of history.  The cost of the coach which will leave the Parish Centre at 9 15 am and arrive back at approximately 4 45 pm will be £20.  For non-National Trust members entrance tickets to Arlington Court will be £11 50.

If you are interested in joining this trip please see me for a form.  James Meakin

On 3rd August at 7 00 pm there is a trip organised to cruise down from Totnes to Dartmouth and return to the sound of the six piece band ‘High Society’.

Tickets are £25 and include supper and a drink and obviously the glorious views! All profits are to go to the Kingskerswell Parish Church Bell Fund to help towards the restoration of the bells. A coach has also been organised at a cost of £5 return per person.

To book this enjoyable evening please speak to Peter Lister on (01803) 614705 or catch him most Sunday Mornings at Kingskerswell Parish Church.
